Enjoying the iPad 3 Longer with Better Battery Performance
What good is your shiny tech if it wouldn’t even last a couple of hours without being charged? If you were wowed with the battery performance of the iPad 1 and iPad 2, then wait until you hear about what Apple plans with the iPad 3. The previous iPads provide an impressive 10 hours of battery life, not to mention the lack of thickness of this battery package.
According to the latest report, Simplo Technology Co. and Dynapack International Technology Corp. will be supplying iPad 3 batteries for Apple. These batteries will not only recharge more times, but will also be thinner than the previous batteries. This would also mean an increase of supply costs by 20 to 30 percent. These batteries will also meet the CTIA IEEE 1625 standard for better quality and safety reliability. This is slowly becoming a trend nowadays, especially in the U.S.
This translates to iPad 3 tablets having batteries that have a longer service life compared to the previous iPads. The iPad 3 is expected to be shipped in 2012. The long-rumored Retina display quality screen is a perfect candidate to fill up the space created by the new and thinner battery packs.

So what will the “battery life” as commonly used (how long with the ipad run without recharging) be?
unfortunately no one can you an exact answer yet, as no one has tested out an ipad 3 yet.
Dont worry im sure there will be some reports from prototypes in early 2012.
